ON VIEW: November 12th to November 15th
GALLERY PARTY: Wednesday November 14th /// 7pm - 11pm

Con Artist Gallery presents TWIN PICS, a delightfully twisted exhibition of ambigram paintings by some of New York City's best emerging artists. What is a visual ambigram? It's an image that still has meaning when shown upside-down — but don’t take our word for it. We will show you! Half-way through the opening reception, precisely at 9 p.m., all the artists will take their paintings off the wall at the same time, flip them 180 degrees, and hang them back “twisted” the other way.

Originally conceived by New York City artist Dmitry Kiper, a Con Artist fall resident, this exhibition will feature paintings of diverse styles — Realist, Expressionist, Abstract — and various media — acrylic, oil, ink, etc. These paintings will not look the same upside-down. Instead, they will reveal themselves as wholly new works of art!

The exhibition will also be available for viewing at Con Artist Gallery from Monday, Nov. 12 to Thursday, Nov. 15 during regular business hours, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., and by appointment.
